Wyoming Outdoorsmen sponsors several Hunter’s Education courses throughout the year!

June 14, 15, 16, 17, & 20 at Cody Firearms Experience— General Public

Get ready for your Fall 2022 Hunting Season!

Wyoming Outdoorsmen are sponsoring a Hunter Safety Course that is open to the General Public. The Class will be held in Cody at Cody Shooting Complex, 61 Road 7WC, on the evenings of June 14, 15, 16, 17 and 20th beginning each evening at 5:20 pm and concluding at 9:00 pm.

This Class will include the standard Hunter Safety Curriculum and students that attend all class sessions and receive a passing grade on the class exam will receive their “Wyoming Game and Fish Hunter Safety Certificate.

This class is recommended for anyone ages 10 and older who needs their Hunter Safety Certificate for this coming fall hunting season.

The cost of the class is $10 per student and will be collected at the June 14th class session. The class fee is waived for Members of Wyoming Outdoorsmen and their minor children. All class materials will be handed out at the June 14th class session.

To enroll in this class go to the Wyoming Game and Fish website, https://wgfd.wyo.gov/ then:

-click on the “Education Button” in the top menu bar,-click on the Blue hunter Education Class button,

-Under Traditional Firearm Hunter Education and Bowhunter Classes |

-click on the Blue “Class info and registration” button

-click on the RED “Register for a Traditional Hunter Education Class” button-

-Search for the classes listed for Cody 82414

February 21, 22, 24, 25, & 26 Cody Firearms Experience — Girls and Adult Women that are Beginning Hunters

Wyoming Outdoorsmen are sponsoring a Special Hunter Safety Course that is specifically focused and designed for Girls and Adult Women that are “Beginning Hunters”.

This Class will include the standard Hunter Safety Curriculum and the instructors will incorporate topics geared toward the interests of Female Beginning Hunters. The class is open to everyone and Daughters who wish to bring their Mom or Dad are encouraged to do so.

This class will be held at Cody Firearms Experience beginning on Monday evening February 21st from 5:30 pm till 9:00pm and continuing at the same time on the evenings of February 22, 24 and 25 and concluding with a final session on Saturday February 26th from 9:00am till 1:00pm.

Attendance at ALL class sessions is required along with successfully passing the class exam in order to receive your “Wyoming Game and Fish Hunter Safety Certificate.
