Wyoming Outdoorsmen donated $1800 to provide ammunition and targets for training sessions, as well as, ammunition, blaze orange clothing and needed supplies for the twelve participants on the one day private property hunts. The twelve hunters were students and women and the primary objective was to introduce hunting to those that would not otherwise have a hunting opportunity. The program was made possible by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department and the sponsoring ranch. Three of the eight Mentors are directors of Wyoming Outdoorsmen and an additional two Mentors are Wyoming Outdoorsmen members.
There was a Range Day at the Meeteetse Shooting Complex, a Simulated Hunt on state land, and the Whitetail Doe Hunt on private property.
